De Ficus Exotica is een prachtige en unieke kamerplant die je interieur een exotisch tintje geeft. Verzorgingstips: Plaatsing: Zet de Ficus Exotica op een plek met helder, indirect zonlicht. Het verdraagt enige schaduw, maar vermijd direct zonlicht, vooral tijdens de heetste uren van de dag. Water geven: Houd de potgrond gelijkmatig vochtig, maar niet drassig. Laat de bovenste laag van de grond licht opdrogen voordat je opnieuw water geeft. Te veel water kan leiden tot wortelrot. Luchtvochtigheid: Deze plant houdt van een gematigde luchtvochtigheid. Als je merkt dat de lucht te droog is, besproei dan regelmatig de bladeren om de luchtvochtigheid te verhogen. Temperatuur: De ideale kamertemperatuur voor de Ficus Exotica ligt tussen de 18°C en 25°C. Het verdraagt geen extreme temperatuurschommelingen. Voeding: Geef de plant eens in de vier weken tijdens het groeiseizoen (lente en zomer) een evenwichtige vloeibare meststof voor kamerplanten. Verpotten: Verpot de Ficus Exotica om de paar jaar in een pot die iets groter is dan de vorige, bij voorkeur in het voorjaar. Let op: De Ficus Exotica is giftig bij inname, dus zorg ervoor dat huisdieren en kleine kinderen niet in de buurt kunnen komen.
