How long does shipping take?

The shipping of our plants, flowers and products usually takes 1-3 business days. Because plants and flowers are fresh products, it may take a little longer for your plant or flower to be delivered, in order to continue to guarantee the freshness.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs vary per plant and per country, but are approximately between 7 and 30 euros.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! From 85 euros you pay no shipping costs on your purchase.

How does delivery work in winter?

Plants and flowers are fresh products. Many plants and flowers do not like (freezing) cold. To guarantee our freshness, orders may arrive with you delayed during severe frost to ensure you of the highest quality.

Why does my order have multiple tracking numbers?

It is possible that your order has multiple tracking numbers. This often goes in combination with multiple deliveries. Because all our plants need different climates to grow healthy, some orders are sent separately to guarantee our freshness guarantee. We do this as sustainably as possible!

Why do some pages have no products?

Sometimes it can happen that certain product pages temporarily do not show any products. This often has to do with seasonal influences and the availability of plants and flowers. Our products are delivered directly from the grower, which means that some varieties are only available in specific seasons.

Do all your plant varieties have their own product page?

Many of our plants have their own product page! At The plant Farmer we strive to give each plant species the attention it deserves. That is why we make sure that you will find extensive information and specific product pages for most species.

Why doesn't each species have its own page?

Some lesser known or rarer plants are bundled within collection pages or categories. This makes it clearer and easier to navigate. The focus is on the most popular plants that are sold a lot, while less common species are often offered together within larger collections.

How do I find a plant I'm looking for?

Use the search function on our website or browse through the categories. There is a good chance that the plant you are looking for is in our assortment, even if it does not (yet) have its own page.


Are new pages being added?

Yes! We are constantly expanding the webshop with new product pages for plant species that are popular or deserve extra attention. This way, our range grows with the seasons and trends.

My plant feels loose in the pot, what now?

It is possible that your plant or flower feels 'loose' in the delivered (cultivation) pot. This is due to the different temperatures, the shipping process and the size and weight of your plant. We always recommend repotting the plant with some soil upon receipt, to give it a healthy start right away. For more information, read our blog article on this topic.

My plant looks different than expected!

Plants and flowers are living products. For this reason, images and dimensions may differ from the actual shape, color and height.

Mijn plant is korter dan aangegeven. Wat moet ik doen?

Planten zijn levende producten. Hierom kunnen ze soms een lengte-afwijking van maximaal 10 cm korter hebben. Is de plant meer dan 10 cm korter dan vermeld? Neem dan contact met ons op via deze chat. we vragen je altijd om een foto mee te sturen met een meetlint van onder naar boven, zodat wij dit kunnen bevestigen.

Warranty & Policy

Do I have a guarantee on my plant?

We guarantee that your plant, flower or product will arrive in a neat (living) state. Did your plant, flower or product arrive damaged? Please contact us within 24 hours, and we will neatly provide a suitable solution.

What does freshness guarantee mean?

At The plant Farmer, quality comes first, which is why we offer our customers a freshness guarantee on all our flowers and plants. We ensure that every order is delivered to you fresh and in optimum condition. Our plants and flowers are shipped directly from the grower and carefully packaged to maintain their freshness during transport. Should anything unexpectedly go wrong with the delivery, we offer a quick solution.

What is your return policy?

All non-living products can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Plants or flowers cannot be returned. Did your plant or flower arrive damaged? Please let us know within 24 hours of receipt, and we will provide a suitable solution.
