  • De Dicksonia Antarctica is een indrukwekkende varen met een sterke, rechtopstaande stam bedekt met een dunne laag schubben. De bladeren zijn groot, lang en veervormig, met een mooie donkergroene kleur die glanst in het licht. De plant kan een weelderige uitstraling geven door de grote rozetten van bladeren die zich vanuit de stam ontwikkelen.
Standplaats:
  • Deze varen gedijt het beste in een schaduwrijke tot halfschaduw locatie. Hij is perfect voor binnenruimtes of beschutte buitenruimtes, waar hij beschermd is tegen direct zonlicht en harde wind.
