De orchidee is een populaire kamerplant. De plant komt voor in veel soorten en kleuren. Dankzij de uitbundige bloei geliefd bij jonge en oudere plantenliefhebbers.

Waarvoor is deze geschikt: 
Culvita Orchideeëngrond is de meest perfecte groeimedium voor Orchideeën. Door de speciale structuur en grofheid biedt het een uitstekende doorlaatbaarheid van water.

Waarvoor niet geschikt: 
In verband met de grofheid van dit mengsel (structuur) kan dit product niet bij andere planten worden toegepast.

Eigenschappen: 
Bij de samenstelling van Culvita Orchideeëngrond worden strenge eisen gesteld aan de gekozen grondstoffen. Alleen grondstoffen die voldoen aan de normen van de fabrikant worden gebruikt. Zo is er bark aan dit product bark toegevoegd. Bark is schors van de Pinus Maritiem (franse zeeden). Dit wordt toegevoegd om het mengsel voldoende luchtig te houden wat een vereiste is voor de Orchidee.

Toepassing:

Culvita Orchideeëngrond wordt gebruikt voor het potten en verpotten van Orchideeën.
Na drie groei-jaren moet de orchidee worden verpot, bij voorkeur na de groeiperiode. Gebruik een wat grotere pot.

  • Snijd afgestorven en eventuele verrotte stukken wortel weg.
  • Vul de pot met orchideeëngrond en zet de plant er in.
  • Druk de grond goed aan zodat de plant stevig staat en geef water.
  • Als de plant te groot is, is het mogelijk om de plant te scheuren. Pot beide delen op de hierboven beschreven wijze. Zorg voor minimaal drie scheuten per pot.
  • Orchidee voeding is aan te raden.

Hoewel dit product een meststof bevat zal het noodzakelijk zijn om na verloop van tijd een bemesting uit te voeren. Dit afhankelijk van de behoefte van uw planten. Gebruik hiervoor de Culvita Orchideeënvoeding.
