De bladeren zijn stekelig en hebben een lichtgrijze tint met enkele heldere groene accenten. Crassula Tenelli: Deze plant heeft vlezige, groene bladeren die een lichtblauwe of grijze tint kunnen hebben. De bladeren groeien in een dichte rozet en hebben een opvallend, decoratief uiterlijk. In de lente of zomer kunnen kleine, stervormige witte bloemen verschijnen.
