Uiterlijk van de plant: Aloe Spider: Deze plant heeft lange, smalle groene bladeren die uit een rozet groeien, wat een spinachtige uitstraling geeft. De bladeren zijn stekelig met een lichtgrijze tint en heldere groene accenten. Pilea Glauca: Deze plant heeft ronde, lichtgroene bladeren die op lange, dunne stelen groeien. De bladeren zijn zacht en glanzend met een opvallende blauwgroene tint.

Standplaats: Aloe Spider: Gedijt het beste op een lichte plek, bij voorkeur in de volle zon binnenshuis. Pilea Glauca: Voorkeur voor helder, indirect licht. Kan ook goed functioneren bij wat schaduwvolle omstandigheden binnenshuis.

Waterbehoefte: Aloe Spider: Heeft weinig water nodig. Laat de grond volledig uitdrogen tussen de gietbeurten door. Pilea Glauca: Heeft een matige waterbehoefte. Houd de grond licht vochtig, maar laat de bovenste laag uitdrogen voordat je opnieuw water geeft. Overbewatering kan leiden tot wortelrot.
